Caterpillar Genset Breather Hoses

Similar to our other Caterpillar mobile generator project, the operator of this genset found that blow-by, an oil- and particulate-laden gas that escapes from around the pistons, was condensing and accumulating on the inside of hoses, creating blockages.

ThermEvolve-based systems are flexible to individual operators' needs, and for this operator we specified two separate lengths of IntelliHose – one (a below) bleading from the crankcase to the CCV (b), and one leading from the CCV to the drain pan (c).

After roll-out of these ThermEvolve-based systems, the operator reported no more freeze-related problems to us.
